    Attending Arts Crush Kick Off will also give you a special Priority Code to win tickets in October in the Free Night Ticket Lottery, Sept 13 - 25.

    Play Arts Crush Bingo to win prizes, enter raffle for arts experiences including tickets and classes, try out interactive arts tables for all ages. You can enjoy live entertainment including:

    DJ VOX MOD. This KEXP Live Volume 9 artist will have music for dancing throughout the day including hip hop and belly dance workshops for all ages.

    The ChromaMatics will create live mural paintings and smaller pieces with your participation. Some pieces will be auctioned and raffled off throughout the day.

    Poems, Prose, Plays and Pedicabs.
    Hop a ride with a Puget Sound writer with up to seven friends and pedal around Seattle Center while listening to or reading with some of the most talented literary artists in the region.

    The Seattle Mandolin Orchestra (SMO) is dedicated to preserving, promoting and extending America’s mandolin ensemble tradition. The orchestra has been performing since 1967 and it includes all the instruments of the mandolin family. The mandolin family is much like the violin family includes mandolins, mandolas, mando-cellos, and the mando-bass. Our 25 member orchestra will perform a program of traditional Italian music. SMO also supports the Mando for Kids program at TOPS Elementary School in Seattle. We anticipate that some of the Mando Kids will contribute to our program as well. Mention ArtsCrush at the box office to receive the pay what you can discount on tickets.

    Copper Canyon Press curated a typical love poems and Bushwick Book Club musicians adapted them into songs. Attendees will receive the secret speakeasy location only after they RSVP. Inside the venue, the audience will receive a pile of words to use on our interactive poetry wall and will be encouraged to trade and share words with each other. At the end of the evening, professinal editors will select a winning poem. That participant will receive a year’s subscription to Copper Canyon poetry books and their poem will become impromptu lyrics for the evening’s musical finale.

    Francisco is a young Mexican-American boy whose abuelo (grandfather) has come to help support the family. Abuelo does not yet speak English, so Francisco translates when they meet Ben, who is looking for a gardener for a day’s work. Francisco rashly says they can do the job, but abuelo is a carpenter, not a gardener. Francisco learns a powerful lesson about integrity from his abuelo. Family Fun Day includes pre-show crafts and a post-show workshop with the actors. This production will be performed bilingually in Spanish and English.

    PNB jump-starts the new season with a trio of dances by the legendary Twyla Tharp, PNB’s 2013 Artist in Residence. AIR Twyla features Waiting at the Station, a dream-come-true world premiere collaboration with R & B great Allen Toussaint, and includes the Scottish-inspired Brief Fling (PNB premiere!) as well as Tharp’s iconic homage to Frank Sinatra and ballroom dance, the unforgettable Nine Sinatra Songs. PWYW tickets are available October 3, in-person only, at the PNB Box Office (301 Mercer Street) starting at 10am. Ticket-buyers must use the password "CRUSH." No more than 2 tickets may be purchased per person, and sales and seating are subject to availability.
